Haworth out of contract so not signed and guess he won't be.

Nobody has stated Corbishley, Bowles, Eastwood, Quain and Krunic have signed as far as I have read.

Seems to me that it is:

SCS

xxxx Young, L Smith xxxx

Coleman Morris P smith Moir

Peters xxxx

With the following to be confirmed:

Quain

Eastwood

Corbishley.

At least if the latter 3 get confirmed, we can field 11 players by early June;which would be a decent start.

Then add in some signings, add in a few more players from the reserves-Wheatley,McAree,Bowles probably.

And it may not be the strongest squad in the world, but its a foundation of a squad which then Ashby can gradually improve and tweak when he sees whats working and what is'nt.

I suspect come October, there will be 2/3 loan signings to complement the squad.

I got the vibes from what was reported that Ashby quite favoured a few loanees-not sure i do

(four years ago ,i think we had 2 players at start of August )

Rapheal Nade

Chukki Eribenne

Ronnie Bull

Lee Maskell

Liam Coleman

all have been released by Ebbsfleet , not sure of there positions but recognize some names , maybe one or two to look at here to blend in with our new set up . I would have thought that Barry Ashby may have had a look at who Daish is getting rid of .Up the Gate .

Whilst i do not know budgets at either club, i imagine those full time players are earning a salary about 6 times what Margate anticipate paying, and a quality that will see most of them remaining in the conference.

Still, maybe Ashby has a certain something about him that will attract players to margate (plus lets not forget -free use of paul Smiths beauty salon in Essex for the WAGS-obviously a major selling point !

Liam Coleman had a brief loan spell at Heybridge Swifts this season I believe so he could drop down to this level.
