Chukki Released

Recommended Posts

To be honest i'm not surprised Chukki has gone. He just seemed to be lacking something, he was a tryer but in my opionion he didn't have the ability.

His scoring record was 10 goals in 30 starts (16 sub) (courtesy of the website), which isn't appaling but at the same time is hardley amazing. There are far better strikers out there which hopefully releasing him may of made space for.

To be fair chukki did have quite a few injury problems last season, i would have liked to seen him for a season with hardly any injuries, maybe he might of scored alot more aswel, owell lets hope liam has got a quality striker up his sleeve !! Best of wishes to chukki and the the other 4 that got released in the future.

thanks,

Kieron

AFF - sounds like a very good description of Luke Moore!

LOL - "The Chukki Brothers" - To me, to you...

I was kinda hoping with no Charlie Mac this year that Luke would relish the chance to stick the ball away, but he seems always to want to find someone else to take the ultimate responsibility. Next year maybe? He's not short of ability, just confidence I think

Ah I believe that is the guy from Ware. Do not know if he would be able to cut it in the conference as the defences in Ryman 1 North are hardly rock solid.

Would any lower league striker be able to make an impact? I think there is a HUGE difference between the BSP and the lower leagues - mainly the fact that nearly all in this league are full-time. A striker from lower down MIGHT learn to deal with the difference, but we have young players already learning their skills already - I would prefer to get a striker who maybe is slowing down (age etc), but knows what he is doing.
