Glad you explained that Jack is Peter Hawkins nickname as I would not of had a clue who you where going on about. Jack Hawkins was definitely way before my time aswell.

 

Yeah I really do hope he signs aswell cause I would be more than happy with our defence then.

Even if we do not get as many/good enough strikers as we would like, we may win a few games on the strength of our defence alone.

I really hope your right about Darius Charles, a quality player IMO. I am sure he is a better player than the Conference league standard. If they offer Hawkins a few pieces of eight, He may stay, A versatile utility player I believe.

His nickname at Rushden, though his jawline is positively rounded compared to Brucy's answer to London's extra runway debate. Our players preferred to call him "Borat."

Don't get my hopes up. The few games I saw in person, Darius Charles was extremely impressive--good positional sense and blistering pace. But I was under the impression we had no shot at signing him. To land him would be a great coup.
