The following players have been released from Ebbsfleet United:

Chukki Eribenne

Ronnie Bull

Lee Maskell

Liam Coleman

 

The club would like to thank them all for their services and wish them well in their future careers.

Only really surprised by Chukki on that list - pity about Liam tho...

 

Guess that means Liam must have a striker (or 2!!) lined up, and is hoping that Chris McPhee signs to give options up front...

Agreed Hannah, no real surpises. Maskell looks a good prospect, as does Stubbs, but he is so far down the pecking order that hs best bet is to get a couple of solid years under his belt at somewhere like Margate, who will be recruiting a young locally based team under Barry Ashby and Smudger Smith.

Liam Coleman was the surprise for me, he's a player I rate and a shame to see him go, I believe he was a good player for the team.

 

I'd like to thank the players and their efforts. Rafael and Chukki especially, they won or got us points from matches when needed. Cheers guys.

Chukki and Raphael weren't good enough but you can't say they didn't put their all in, despite receiving a lot of stick from the crowd. Liam Coleman had bags of potential I thought, but was never really given time to settle. I remember last year vs. Grays at home, Coleman ran that game for us.

Does this mean we're still trying to tie Slatter and MacDonald to contracts, if there's been no news about them being released or signing on?

liam coleman was a kent cup player this year.

lee maskell never made it, neither did rafa.

Chukki i would of kept as backup unless Daishy has got some players ready to join.

A bit surprised that Chukki was released as I thought he was good as a back up. Nade he was very good at winning headers but that was all that he really did that was good.

Shocked that Liam went, thought he had bags of potential with a lot of flair; something the fleet lacked in the end last season Good luck with everyone, and in with the new! Love to see some well know faces next year!

It means he is at least another five players short, until he is given his budget and knows who he can afford to bring in!

Can i just check... did Bull only sign in january/february? He must have only signed a short-term agreement. I know he was only a fringe player but it was a shame he didnt sign on.
