It's a disgrace!!!

As a full paid member of the ESL & Intermediate managers association,i have to say that i'm totally amazed at the treatment given by some club chairmen to some of my association colleagues.In the old days an handshake was worthy a lot to people concerned but nowadays is worthy nothing.The way my colleague Rookie at Basildon Utd,has been treated beggars belief!!!I have been told he was assured about his position at the Club presentation night by some club officials and he was looking forward to the new season confident of taking the club forward.Also i received another complaint from our colleagues from Stambridge Utd(EOL)who apparently have been fired by their local chairman with the complicity of a shooting gun club!!!We all understand that is part and parcel of football these days but a bit of decency by all parties concerned would go a long way to restore faith to people.I'm afraid if the situation won't improve we'll have to ballot our members regarding the possibility of a strike to make aware our FA and the public in general about our feelings.I hope they all come to senses because we don't want a repeat of the 1961 situation and another Jimmy Hill fierce stand!!More dignity please!!!
