Ryman football i don't see it some how especially as the club seems to have no money, the board don't seem ready to take that step up, plus now Enfield Town call all the shots at Goldsdown road, i heard that Brimsdown will be a feeder club for Enfield so any players that are not good enough to play in the Ryman for Enfield will come down to brimsdown and play for them, so they are basically a second reserve side, I'm sure Justin is not going to be happy with that, however he did have that at Cheshunt anyway as he managed a reserve side in a first team league, but we will see, brimo the cat you know how hard things are at brimsdown, he is going to need more than this season to have any chance of promotion as it will be a massive step for the club and in the ryman league the club will need to have some money.

I hear that the idea of rolling substitutes (currently only operating up to U16 level) are going to be introduced at U18 level and, eventually, into men's football. When that happens, Blues06 can be the specialist set piece taker, only coming off the Dame Judy when a free kick is awarded!

Rolling subs, cool! I can go up for corners and not have to run back, just roll a sub on while I stroll back down the touchline and then back on again....

I see that there is a formal announcement on the Non League Today Website:

Former Cheshunt reserve manager Justin Moseley has been appointed as the new manager of Molten Spartan South Midlands League club Brimsdown Rovers.

Moseley replaces Mervyn Abraham, who resigned shortly before the end of the season.

Moseley (pictured above) was caretaker boss of the Cheshunt first-team for a spell last season, before going to Chesham United as manager of their Capital League side.

His assistant-manager from his time at Cheshunt, Kevin Dear (right), has also joined him at Goldsdown Road.

Moseley is looking forward to the challenge and he paid tribute to the outgoing manager:
