One of the very better players I have seen wear the red of Orient. Fantastic player on his day, always a real wonder to me and many O's as to why he was not kept on with us.

Mackie D remember Peter The Pole?

 

I remember when Kirk kept calling him the Pole and in a warm up he came and said...'Jenko why does Kirk call me Peter the Pole......I'm slovakian'.

 

I remember Kirk phoning me after his first training session. I wasn't there but had told him where trainig was. Kirk thought we had the next best thing. Problem was had all the skill in the World but couldn't hit a barn door!

Nice to remain in the memory at Hullbridge. It was nice of Terry and Beryl to come up the hospital to make sure I was ok, I even got a get well letter from the league.

Brkovic was a good player. The O's have had quality of the years, Chris Bart-Williams, Alan Comfort, Ian Bogie, Mark Cooper, Terry Howard, Paul Heald, Kevin Campbell. I remember the days.

Question 7) Anyone that played with Martin Gibbs (AKA Gibbo) will know that he has never been classed as a key midfielder!!

I thought that, i thought it might be a different gibbs. But I make you dead right, Gibbo is certainly not a key midfielder, in fact I'm not sure if he ever was a midfielder.

For some one so slow and small, he was very good in the air and read the game very well though. It was pleasure playing with him in front of me.

Remember it well jenko, also remember when the pole got mugged and all the players had a whip round for him and i gave him a new mobile then next week the kent fecked off to bowers, all the players wanted to kill the twat.
