A two page interview in todays Thanet Times from Barry Ashby. In it he states Jimmy Jackson and Steve McKimm are free agents with Kieron Morris, Nick Moir and Dan Young being retained, along with SCS, Louis Smith, Ryan Peters and Luke Coleman already on contract.

 

Not surprised re Mckimm but a real shame about Jacko, am guessing money came into the decision?

Perhaps they should reserve some money for playing staff rather than having eighty seven different types of manager without any credentials.

At least we have 8 players-add in Paul Smith-which is a start for the month of June.

 

i would have liked to have seen Josephs and Corbishly retained aswell.

I don't rate Joseph at all. I wonder if those of you who rate Joseph saw some of his abysmal performances last season. Corbishley seems to be promising. But, with our limited budget I'm not going to go mad over either. I'm happy to let Ashby see who he can bring in to make the squad the strongest it can possibly be.
