Song to run out to -Blues blues blues

Now i thought that song got it just about right.

Said what it meant.

Was not too old or too new and reasonably lively.

The only problem with it for me is that somehow its a song that i will always associate with the 'Trott era'

Thus-whilst not one advocating change for change sakes-and i still think the simplicity of the song pitches it about right, does anyone else 'associate it' with trott and thus see a possible need for change.

Believe it was introduced by 'junior' in the Parmenter era. Before that (when 'Rocking Richard' was in the PA) we used to come out to 'The Race' by Yello (though gawd knows why).

I do not mind 'The Race' and it is certainly better than 'Blues Blues Blues'. It was either introduced by Master Parmenter (amend that as you will) as you say, or by Michael Knight, a short lived commercial manager who after leaving us reportedly took over a similar role at Ramsgate before disappearing off the radar. Whoever introduced it it is rubbish and, I believe, a Birmingham City song (I am sure it says 'Oh City' in there somewhere).
I could write a new 'theme' tune for the club but it would be rubbish beyond imagination!

I'd always wondered what that song was we used to run out to. I remember standing down the old coffin end with my dad and uncle when I first started attending HDP on a regular basis, my first experiences of pre-match nerves, that song always got the adrenaline pumping for me.
