interesting to see that the llamas might be "favourites" again.

How do you all think Dorking will fare in Div 1?

Obviously depends exactly who they have playing for them but Dorking shouldnt have too much trouble getting and keeping a side capable of challenging at the top, should they?

I always compare Div 1 with the Championship. It is a tough league to get out of. Dorking will find it totally different from the premier. I think the hardest thing to get used to is the standard each week is so hit and miss. One week a team will barely have 11 and then the next week they will beat a top 5 side. Unpredictable

I think Dorking will do it, apart from 2 or 3 sides a season there will not be much competition and it will be down to ground grading again anyway, which Dorking already have.

I thought the biggest difference was hospitality, and not much difference between the bottom of the the premier and top of Div 1, mostly quite nice friendly clubs

hopefully next year there might be 3 or 4 clubs in div 1 with the grading, which should help keep the season going for both divisions.

getting a run of wins might help the younger lads no end so I hope the fixture list is kind and gives them some chances to win early on.

top 3 finish should be on the cards?

That magic word 'Restructuring' keeps cropping up in conversations in local watering-holes.

turns out BG have to relocate because their current agreement with Hayes yeading might not last the season as the ground may be sold and that figure is confirmed on windsors website.

how is a club like BG going to survive paying 15000 a season just on rent to play at a ground miles from home in front of a dozen or so punters, and pay out for its existing facilities and expenses?

is it all from one guy financing it?.....
