Unconfirmed report's are stateing the fleet have signd Craig Stone from Gillingham,......... had this sent to me from the ebbsfleet group on facebook, dont know if there is any truth in it..

I see someones already decided he's signed - the link shows us as current club!

From what i heard he has not actually signed for us yet, but should be in the very near future. On the playing side of things he is a very strong player, good on the ball and should be a perfect replacement for Bostwick.

I do go to WHL have done all my life and will continue to do so, The fleet i got hooked on about 4 yrs ago and go to every home game i can, and some away ...patronise? nope i love my football and thats the way it is....sorry but im a yid for life and a fleet fan for life....when we get to the premiership then its going to be hard......;-)

I was at the Snodland Nomads end-of-season presentation evening on saturday and was introduced to Craig by a friend as the token Gravesend/Ebbsfleet supporter there, he was there as a guest to hand out medals to boys from under 7 level up to the under 18's. He was a very presentable young man and was more than happy to talk to everyone who wanted to talk to him. I asked hima nd we discussed his proposed move to Gravesend/Ebbsfleet, he said he had meet with LD and AK and knew some of the players there already. He said that hopefully something would be happening this week. In his words the deal was 95% done.

Having known Craig for some time now he would be a tremendous assett and contribution to next season. He has great vision(doesnt mean just good eyesight!) and would boss the midfield better than most at this level.Lets hope it completes and he becomes a Fleet legend.

Has Liam not been on holiday for the last 10 days? That being the case, I guess its unlikely that the matter will have been finalised.

No idea who is on holiday and who is not, but someone has signed several players and let five go, over the last week or so, going on that i guess there is a possibilty that the same person could have signed Stone.

Stone was at Brentford, on loan for a part of last season.

Decent ability, needs a lot of experience, I would say..needs regular games, and will be an asset to any League 2 or Conference club
