Little sleep last night, both my teams playing very important games today, but for very different reasons.

Decisions had to be made about travelling back to West London, or make the trip to Northfleet........ Do I cheers on The Superhoops, my first team and have been for 31 years, or lend my vocals to my 'new' team,.......??

 

See you all at Stonbridge Road!! Am sure that 'Fleet can score at least one today, the big (hopefully) crowd will be such an incentive to the players. As long as the ref knows how to use a watch we will be able to look forward to Conference football again next season (makes the summer break a bit more tolerable, such a drag 3 months off knowing you are playing a league lower than when ya last played, been there twice recently, hated it, dont wanna be doing it come 4.50pm on Sat)

I would be happy with a 3.45 finish!!! Fleet have been a great 'first half' team this season, but have had so many points dropped in the second half, never mind playing 100 minute games!!!!

If only the 1900 who will turn out once a year to see if we get relegated would turn up every home match We could compete with the full time clubs in this league.

Considering the gates in previous seasons 1200 isn't a bad average but if we want to do more than just survive we need at least 1500 next year.

The Final Average was 1,230 (to the nearest whole number) If we want to progress, the 1,500 is probably the minimum that we will require.

"success brings success". If we do the biz in the pitch then the crowds will come through the stiles. We have a good catchment area around Stonebrige road , so its really down to us.
