Just too far for me to go tonnight, but i do hope that there is a really good turnout so that some great questions get asked,(and even better answers) everyone comes` away positive, and the manager and club officilas see the passion and amount of support that is out there for MFC

I'm not travelling down tonight. 140mile round trip and a club who appears to have sold us down the line. They could have at least kept one or two experienced players for next term. Why pay

Am going to tonight's meeting and hoping to get a couple of interviews with a particular focus on the football. Will also try to set up a regular update with BA and / or PS.

Watch this space .... well www.margate-fc.com - that space.

Question for tonight-we are rreading that we now probably have 8 signed players-including Paul Smith.

Many of us are assuming that the likes of Eastwood, wheatley,Corbishly,McAree, Bowles,Lamprell,Quain, will be signed on first team contracts.

However, that remains an assumption-are the likes of these players going to be added to the squad,or indeed will they even remain as reserve players-like everyone else-they must be equally free to find clubs elsewhere-or is Ashby making aserious attempt to tie them to contracts.

Cheers Steve saves me doing it, when I interviewed Robin he was sacked 2 weeks later! I am steering well clear this time!

someone should ask about ticket prices being lowered - people complained to me last season about the prices being too high for the quality of football they were watching. no offense to the players, but next season the quality will be less than it was this season, making the ticket prices seem even more overpriced...

I am not so sure that quality next season will be less than this season.

On paper-there may not be the talent-we couold yet be surprised on that count aswell, but coaching and organisation also provides quality-and maybe ,just maybe,Ashby and Smith can bring that.

In any case,as far as i am concerened i could not care about quality-i just want to see a winning mentality-and given that it is unlikely that we will see that week in/week out-just an avoidance of kamikaze football would do it for me'.

all in all, i am pretty optimistic about the new season regardless.
