Congratulations to them-and i wish thewm really well.

Apart from snopppets on here,i know zilch about them.

can someone enlighten me please ?

Has Ashby managed before ?

I read that Smith is player coach (does that mean S Mckimm leaves ?)

At least we have a coach from the start-has Smith coached before ?

So if Smith is player coach-what position does he play-thats one more player at least-and what are his playing stats ?

I wish them well

For anyone who cares what Mr Ashby looks like-this is supposedly him :

(looks like he could also do with a couple of hours in Paul Smiths alleged beauty salon to me )

does anyone else think he looks vaguely like Iain o'Connell

maybe Smith has lured 1+2 players from Sudbury he thinks will fit into the squad at HDP . Thats what i would do especially if they are going to be out of contract there , Keep them imformed with whats going on then lure them in at the right time , would make sense and they could be quality players without having to pay a fee . Up the Gate .

Just heard a rumor that you are signing Jamie Rowe and Gareth Heath from AFC Sudbury, really good signings if true.

Rowe Scored 40 goals last season despite being injured for about 4 weeks and Heath scored 19 goals.

IMO both players capable of much higher standard, but were top earners at AFC Sudbury, so prepare to dig deep.

Paul Smith, nice guy and was obviously a really good player, he does not move far from the centre spot now days and could not get a regular place at Sudbury.

Interesting that you say that Mellow Yellow, I heard something similar, but have not heard names mentioned yet. We certainly need a striker thats for sure.

What kind of player is Jamie Rowe? Small and quick or more of a target man?

Jamie Rowe is the fastest thing on two legs you have ever seen, he can cut in from either wing and scream them in from 30 yards or can play down the middle and poach in the 6yard box.

Gareth Heath runs all day box to box can also play up front, scored some special goals last season from free kicks.

Sudbury supporters will be devastated to lose them,But like I say they wont come cheap.

Smith was a top player in his day, heard him interviewed at the end of last season and he had a long term injury which had virtually stopped him playing, if he overcomes the injury he should still do a good job.

If true then lets hope the board see sense and show there worth after all the trouble they have caused and put there hands in there pockets and buy this guy . This is the 1st test for the board so lets see how far they want to go . Up the gate .
