Thanks mate, seeing as you were kind enough to mention it I'll post it here! When I first logged on, I looked at the top 10 no. of posts, and thought "How the [censored] is that possible?" And then I found this forum!

 

I was toying with the idea of retiring on 999, and setting up a new name and seeing how long it was before anyone noticed.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

Off to Canvey in an hour- should be a good crack... Have a good one this arvo if you're going...

MKJ, I think I spotted you today. Was you wearing glasses and a white/beige coloured coat? You were down by the burger van at half time. I was standing right behind the goal, second step up with my dad. I was wearing a blue coat, jeans, canvey scarf and drinking a tea.

 

You probably heard me in the bar shouting at the telly, "thanks alot Arsenal, you bunch of t...rs" when Bolton scored their equaliser and then staring disconsolately into my pint at the final whistle.

 

I probably should of come over and said hello but unfortunately I'm too shy.

 

Anyway hope you had a good day apart from the result and good luck next season!!

No, I was the baldish, slightly rotund guy(29) in the white Enfield shirt standing behiind the goal. I was in the bar, as a Spurs man I had to say I was cheering when the Bolton equaliser went past 'Seaman's dispairing dive' TM. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

 

But I wasn't at all happy with our performance. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> Your boys were excellent. I'm definitely having Canvey down as favourites for next season, they're far better then any other team I've seen this season (even Bedford)

Right! I did see you, standing on the north bank at the end. Yes, we were a bit tasty today.

 

Actually I was a little pissed off at the start of the second half because it seemed as if we had lost our way. After Boylan scored the fifth, we stepped up a gear and looked awesome. Greggors' goal and Boylan's fourth were sublime and I still don't know how Prothers got that one in for number 10. I was on the verge of slagging him off when the ball dropped into the net!

 

I saw us beat SAVE FC 9-1 in the FA Cup last season but I never thought we would do this in a league game! I very nearly invaded the pitch when Prothers scored!

 

Anyway good luck next season!!

He can score them wonder goals in a Beckham style, it's just a pity he's missed with so many of his free-kicks lately. He could've saved the game at 'Ricay if they'd found the back of the net.

I would never slag Prothers off. The guy is a god and also Britain's sixth sexiest plumber!! (hands off girls he's spoken for!)

 

Remember that goal against Maidenhead, Matt?

 

The thunderbolt shot with his supposedly weaker left foot that nearly ripped the net out. Pure class.

You know YA, that is the only Home game I've missed this season! I was still on my way back from Southend when I got the text message that Proths had scored. I was going ballistic in the back of my mates car!!

 

But I do remember his free-kicks, The Hendon Bryco Cup game was a beaut, as was his one away to Chesham.

Sorry going ballistic right now, Kanoute has just scored for the Hammers, nine minutes to hang on in there.

 

The only home game I've missed this season was Chelmsford in the ESC, I didn't miss much though!

That's a new one, and yet you're not wrong- well it's certainly better than the usual Phil Mitchell, Charlie Drake, Mick Hucknall, Steve Mcmahon etc. etc.
