Only yesterday I was looking at a "Daish Out" thread.

 

Some MyFC member was bleating on about us not having signed anyone when all other clubs seem to be signing players.

 

I told him that Daish traditionally doesn't sign players this early on in the summer.

 

It wasn't any good. To quote him directly...

"you're right. we don't NEED the squad fully assembled until august. but wouldn't it be nice to have the squad signed and training together before preseasons. i think that we need to sign whoever we can from our team last year that will do us some good this season and try our hardest to bring in some players, either on loan or purchase.

HJA, it's late (well, okay its isn't - but I have been out to watch the conclusion of the SPL!)... Wouldn't the easiest answer to Doug Something have been just to remind him that before Liam can think about signing players, MyFC have to agree a budget to give him?

The vote to do that doesn't matter! It's what they want (and by they I mean the few that post on the board) It doesn't matter that the overwhelming population of MyFC want Liam to be able to do his job, the posting few think they're in a better position to do it!
