Margate Football Club Ltd can confirm that Malcolm Rowlett, Alan Bown and Terence Painter have resigned from the position of Director.

 

As a result of this Colin Page has withdrawn his resignation and must now work to put together a team of Directors to move the Club forward.

 

It is expected that the new Management Team will be announced by the end of the week and it is the intention to call an open meeting for supporters in the next few days.

At least we got an immediate update this time.

Keith looks odds on to be coming back by the looks of it. JJ will be pulling his hair out right now I would imagine.

Just when we thought things were moving forward and people were talking to each other this happens. Does this mean that the managers position is going to be held back even longer. Was one not being appointed this week and was going to be announced Friday by the current/ex board? Do we go back to the original appointment decided by ex/present/old/new board, KP and Co? We ask for an announvcement and we're more bl;oody confused than ever!!!!! Someone help me pleeeeeeeeeease

Its quite simple. The board will consist of Piper,Page, Lever and his accountant. The original manager that Kp was going to appoint before his resignation will be put in place.

This is like one of those soaps on TV that you can predict whats going to happen before it actually does. My guess is that Rowlett couldn't access the official web site to give us news because the others only had access. Funny how the news of KP's departure wasn't on the official website but Rowlett and Co's is!

It only needs a bit of honesty Paul. Nothing more & nothing less. Thats what we seem to lack these days with the board,whoever it is,pure & simple....Honesty.It does bring its rewards in the end.
