Top 5 annoying things at bus stops and/or train stations

*This thread is dedicated to the old biddies at my bus stop this morning*

 

1. Elderly people talking about EVERY SINGLE bus route there is IN GREAT DETAIL.

2. Elderly people people talking about the weather.

3. Elderly people talking to me.

4. Over-excited children ESPECIALLY those 'tweenagers'-12 year old girls who think their 18. IT'S JUST NOT RIGHT.

5. Bees-a-buzzing.

Yeah tweenage girls talking about S Club and Westlife. Get a life! They are s..t, nobody will remember them in 10 years time!

That's not what I hear them talk about! They're always going on about who's going out with who, who the best kisser is blah blah blah. As I said before-it's just not right! They should be talking about 'My Little Pony' or stuff like that at that age, although I didn't!

Yeah they do that on trains. It's like I don't particularly want to hear your conversation!!

To be honest I seem to attract the weirdos at bus stops, I don't know why. It's certainly not my good looks!!

I get loads of weird people coming up to me and all the old women come and talk to me. One of my friends had an old woman come up to her claming that she (my friend) was her daughter (which she certainly wasn't) and then the old woman proceded to tell her about fish!

Yeah I probably will overtake you Matt and get quite away ahead of you but my new admin job starts in June and I'll only be able to come on here of an evening and weekends (the civil service takes a dim view of using their computers for recreational purposes) so you'll probably catch me up again during the summer.

Anyway where were we? Oh yes Bus-Stops.

 

1. Strong winds, (standing there with the cold wind in your face takes the piss!)

2. Window lickers who just won't shut up, (sorry but if they behave like that then they should have their own transport)

3. Crying babies

4. Slappers as mentioned above.

5. Women who can't keep their children under control.

 

3, 4 & 5 are very closely tied!!!

Seems to be alot of 3, 4 and 5 on Canvey and in Essex in general.

 

Madam Chubb (there!, that's a new one to add to your list!) maybe you attract these weirdos because you're a nice girl. What I mean is your appearance is non threatening (the way you dress, your hairstyle e.t.c).

Weird people tend to talk to me because I don't look particularly threatening. I haven't got my hair shaved or my ears pierced. I wear glasses so probably look intellectual (which I am anyway) and I'm hardly big built.

 

You'd probably find if you wore a short skirt, low cut top (and I'm not suggesting you do this!!) you'd totally put all the weirdos off but then get pervy blokes making comments.

 

At the end of the day you've got to be yourself, you can't be noone else.

Apparently according to this week's NME, Noel Gallagher has said he is taking the rest of the year off and work on the new Oasis album will start in 2004. Don't expect a new album until 2005!

Apparently Liam has written a song about his time in prison in Germany tentatively titled 'They've got nothing on me, they've got nothing on you'.
