phone call update!!!

so i kept to my promise and returned malcoms call, have to say not alot was said BUT he has assured me that there WILL BE AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT THIS WEEK! after lots of meetings today MR has toldme that info has been passed to board members and they have promised they will get back to him today and he says AS SOON AS THAT HAPPENS an official statement will be released! couple of questions i did put to him were if there was any truth in rumour we were going to take demotion 1 or 2 leagues and HE ASSURED ME THAT IS NOT THE CASE i asked him again to confirm this and he said certainly not and doesnt know where these rumours have come from, and i stated that its the fault of the club for not giving us anything official and thats how rumours start to which he agreed, he also said that there can AND WILL BE A FANS MEETING VERY SOON as this all needs to be out in the open so we will get our chance to fire the questions we need to ask(should be an interesting evening im sure and one that i would have thought that will fill clubhouse) sorry this isnt much but its as much as i was told, again he re-iterated that he WAS fully aware of the diminshing fanbase because of al this and says will workhard to put all that right.

Glad to hear him quash that rumour about dropping leagues & great to hear,at last,that a meeting is just around the corner.It will clear the air,have us all up to scratch with whats going on & should allow him & his merry men to carry on their work in peace.

A statement too!. I am impressed (if it all comes about that is).

 

Isn't this kind of update the very thing that could have been put up on the official page though & in the process give us all what we have been crying out for. A little lift.It dosent tell us a lot but it tells us something. At the same time it gets us off their backs too to get on with their work on our behalves but most of all it shows we aren't being ignored.

It shouldn't be overlooked though,despite todays unofficial update, the fact that we haven't got updates before(sorry,I won't accept excuses)& I still think this needs looking at for the future,however after what's been extracted today,I for one am willing to let things rest, ....for now.

Again,good work John. We await in anticipation then.
