Here is a post from Rsouthendian on the TK site in a thread which suggested that the ESL constitution had already been finalised for next season.

 

"Yes, folks a highly premature statement methinks - lots of interested parties and matters to discuss before the ESL puts its constitution to bed for 2008/2009 !"

 

Seems quite upbeat and positive to me!

I'd like to know where he got that information from. Considering TK found out about every change at Step 4 and above before the clubs, surely he'll know about Step 5 and below first too.

 

I'd be surprised if the ESL ran with more than sixteen clubs. It's just too much effort for the FA to bother with, in my opinion.

I don't know. It's over my head. I only take an interest 'cause the ESL is on my doorstep and it does get ignored a lot, which seems unfair.
