Considering that STANSTED,CLAPTON,CONCORD R,SAWBRIDGEWORTH all changed managers last season or towards end of it,it's really a merry go round!I remember that Sawbo manager (Don Watters) was there for 20 years and Reg Curtis(eton manor chairman,Terry Shoebridge(Stansted chairman) even longer and without mentioning our Beryl secretary...There is still hope lads!!

Only a couple of weeks back I nearly started a post titled "Longest serving Senior League Managers"...Im sure that Steve 'Boris' Sinnett would have topped that list with yourself also up there in 2nd place!

Years ago,players and managers were a lot more loyal and used to stay at a club even through relegations,promotions,floods,fires,etc!Chairmen were not panicking,and were giving managers time to build things that would have given those clubs a solid platform for the future.Unfortunately it's a continental cancer(italian i would say) that has spread everywhere in Europe.I can only take my hat off to Ron Martin for keeping Tilly through a relegation battle,promotion,relegation and missed promotion.It's called stability and mutual trust between the management and chairman.
