who will get the southend manor job now ong serving steve sinnot has left.

 

current asst manager must be in strong position to take over.

 

john doyle out of work since being outed from bowers must be up there as strong contender. similar character to boris.

 

stroyan nelso very successful with white ensign could take all his players to manor.

 

steve tilson after failing to get southend out of league 1 maybe he fancy a crack at ESL

No offence but there is no chance they would give it to Russ Faulkner (stand up) . He is a coach and not a manager.

Tough one as its a decent job to have . I think Doyley would be itching to get back into it and he has a proven pedigree. Stroyan would take his ensign team over there and after his success he deserves a crack at the ESL. No one has mentioned coachie though . Local to the club , always over there watching, better catchment area for him aswell to get his "understrength" youngsters out

Dan,if i wanted i could have gone years ago.You are right,it is round the corner from me,Bob and Geoff are two Whitecaps boys,it's central for the catchment area,it's not a social club,my mates think they are better run than Hullbridge but the longer i stay at Hullbridge and the more i want to be involved and be successful with the Bridge boys.Southend Manor is a club who i higly respect but they have always been rivals to me and that goes back to the days of that gentleman of Malcom Frost.Might be one day but definitely not now,my heart is blue and white.The manager will be announced wednesday but i can tell you it's gonna be an internal solution and rightly so because club needs continuity.To me Russell and someone like Paul Leggatt and Holmes helping out.No Doyle,Higley etc,etc,they are a close knit,the Manor lads.

Im looking forward to the announcement on wednesday...

 

The lads are all cool and looking forward to building on our successful season of last year. We finished 6th in a strong league above clubs such as Burnham and Barking.

 

We also finished with the second best defensive record in the 25 year Senior League history! We also chalked up the 1000th goal in the clubs league history.

 

Best of luck to Steve aswell, he deserves a crack at a higher level after producing a great 5 seasons on a shoestring budget!

Cheers Ant....likewise with Concord next season, you and Chris Crerie deserve all the success over there!

 

The New manor Management Trio looks good to me and on a personal note, Im gagging to play again already...

 

Ecspecially as England never made the Euro`s and Southend bailed out of the play offs...I need a football fix!
