Going back to the 'close season' debate. I phoned the FA just now to get their take on it and it is a registration issue. The Reg Dept at The FA would deal with any one having a friendly before 30th June.

I note from the Non League Today Website that Cockfosters are looking for pre-season friendly games:

 

Molten Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Cockfosters are looking for opponents for away friendlies throughout July (Saturdays or midweek).

 

The only date not available is July 17th.

 

Interested clubs should contact Graham Bint

I bet you try to get there just to be nosey, unless you're on your family holiday at that time to somewhere like Phuket, the Maldives or West Indies with all that money you and Mrs Keeps earn.

Thats why Willo is off to the Caribbean, 1 day I will bhe lucky enough to get stuck on the island and get extra holiday for freeeeeeeeeee grin Left the island 16 hours before the big 1 hit last year bigcry maybe this year.

I see that Cockfosters have firmed up their pre-season schedule as follows: Met Police Bushey away on July 17, Potters Bar Town away on July 22, Mill End Sports away on July 26, Codicote away on July 31 and London Lions away on August 2. They should be nicely primed for the season opener on 9 August.
