MARGATE will appoint their new manager towards the end of this week, writes Stephen McCartney.

 

The Hartsdown Park club placed an advertisement in the Non-League Paper seven days ago and are currently sifting through the applicants

Now the club owes so much to KT that it is amazing.

 

I find this just hoighlights the communication problem though.

 

Whilst one would not anticipate anyone from the club posting direct on the forum (though goodness knows why not), posting something similar to what KT has just advised Kentish football, on the club official site may have been a good idea, and shown a modicum of respect to the supporters.

(there again-with so many falling by the wayside, maybe the club directors realise that there are very few supporters left. )

The question is, what can KP offer Dover? He is a bankrupt and has some shares in Margate!!!

Coming back to the original thread; where does that place MR's 'quote'of about two weeks ago ,where he stated that KP had already done a load of interviews ?

Tall managers sign taller players,and in this league, tall players can bully little players and bring success through strength.

 

CK did not sign many tall players as he thought anyone over 5'10'' was tall (even Sam was only 6 foot ).

 

If we want a manger who shouts alot (and i don't ) then we need a short manager-as most short people have big mouths.

 

Therein lies the sophisticated manger recruitment system

That counts out all but Heathy from reserves then. Using that fomula lets hope the new manager likes working for nothing.

So Ashby is 6'2''.
Good start-hopefully he will not sign midgets then.

I hope he does alot better than the last 6'2'' former defender who masqueraded as a manager for two years .
