Fans Aligence

Good people of MFC support or otherwise involved: I have tried to phone both the club/chairman email the club (dont know chairmans email address) and watched the MFC site with baited breathe for over a month. Frustration is now setting in not only for me but the fans as a whole, would the board/chair/managerial side of the club or even rambo (or has he quit as well) please divulge a snippet of info as to what the hell is going on at our ("our") club. If a power struggle is going on at MFC board level - the only thing that it seems to be achieving is the demise of:-

1. Its fan base

2. The structorial integrity of the club

3. The clubs history and team

The ability to communicate to others be it speech / sign language / or in text form has been a way that the human race has proved that we are the superior race on the face of this planet - why then do all these so called superior (BOARD) beings refuse to use this simple attribute. My only thoughts to this are thats it is money biased and we the FANS dont really matter!!!

Sorely tempted to start watching Ebbsfleet next year, at least they seem to involve their fans, which is something MFC have really not got to grips with.

Hear hear Andy. However,I personally will never cease from supporting this club,no matter how bad things look or unless it folds of course & that seems like it might not be too far off at this rate.Following any other club would be a definate no no for me.Old habits die hard & so on.

Where is the supposed & anticipated improvement since KP left?.

Its getting worse not better, even taking into consideration that those left in charge need time to adjust to running a football club.

Rumours are continuing to fly about at the moment because of this lack of official info, one in particular that worries me is that those Directors left are anticipating dropping us a league or two,for whatever reasons.

I want to know if this(strange & unbelievable rumour is true or not).

It wouldn't make sense to do that with the local games coming up this year & increased crowds with away support, surely?(wont get HOME support at this rate) Then the travelling costs will be less too....... wouldn't they?

If that is the case,& hopefully it IS just a rumour, then we should be allowed to have our say before that move is made i.m.o.

Unfortunately jim I fear that we are heading for a crash here, and My aligence hasnt changed - but has weakened. I personally feel that there are deeper and darker reasons for such silence and ineptitude - sorry if I sound defeated but support really should flow by ways

I fear that we are going to be the laughing stock of the league no matter what the outcome of this is . When Dover and Dartford bring there army of surport to HDP you can imagine just what they are going to be hurling at the miserly 200-300 we will have there . Two kent clubs that had nothing a few seasons ago but are rolling past us in the breeze and we will have the Angels looking down on us as well and probably and most horribly the Rams again will be laughing at us again .

I think its going to take a couple of seasons in this league to turn around the damage that has been caused over the past 3-4 months just gone , not a good sign i know and i fear the club won`t be back anywhere in sight of where we were 5 yrs ago for at least another 5-6 yrs .

Was at the Thanet Sunday league challenge cup final today. Ward was there looking at 5 players. I'd expect that Jake Eastwood and Alan Heath may have been two of them. We need to at least make these signings otherwise Ward may again sweep up the cream of Thanet's footballers.

Trouble is a) who is going to make the decisions on who we sign at present and B) when a new manager comes in, possibly with different ideas, is that person going to be happy to be told "here are your players".

This is not to decry those that you have mentioned - I saw Margate play against VCD a couple of years or so back with largely a reserve side in the KSC and was impressed with many of the players.

i would love to see our reserves make the jump up to the first team, but we are talking about the ryman prem and there are some strong teams in it next term, with out a core of good vets we are in deep trouble, which will take years to recoup from.not dissin our reserves they have to start from somewhere.
