Sorry, ignore my post re u18 at Hartsdown. Just found out that the game is to be played at Jackie Bakers at 1 pm. No idea why, just adds to the speculation.

As stated in the other post, the pitch works have begun already. Its essential we started as early as possible to have the pitch ready for next season.

thanks for info, shame it has to be posted by a member of the focus. Hope those who would just turn up are aware. Sadly Jamie will not be there as he`s on a 2-10 shift.

Apologies for going off main topic on this thread-but question to TBM-what specifically are the pitch improvements-and what will the anticipated outcome be come end of July,and long lasting effect through next season.

 

In fairness, thought the pitch 'did well' last season,albeit helped by fact that it was unusually dry in November,so did not cut up too early and december.

 

we may not have a board,manager or team, but at least we can come and look at some nice grass on saturday afternoons.

 

Not your responsibility TBM-seems like you and Ray are doing a grand job, but similar to the U18's news, the pitch'improvements' is the sort of general interest stuff that should be posted on the official website.

 

There must be a reasonable investment here-which is not the sign of a 'dying club' so tell us about it.
