(2) Do Dorking FC see groundsharing a permanent way forward?

(3) Would a reserve side help and are there any plans for one next season?

More questions !!!!!

(1) I'm not privy to how the negotiations are going with MVDC.

(2) Answer similar to (1) above. We have always had a very good working and social relationship with Bookham and I'm sure if they wish to comment, they would.

(3) It's always been a view to form a reserves team. At present we have a very talented under 18's squad. Tony and Peter are always working to increase the 1st squad and work closely with the Under 18's.

thanks for letting us know what you can jr.

The club seem happy to tell everyone about how bad the council are, but arent saying much about other things.

I accept this forum isnt the place for the club to discuss leases and relationships with Bookham, but no harm in asking.

It would seem reasonable for your contacts to advise us on the reserve side situation though, JR.

If its always been a view to form one, what's stopping it?

I ask all these things partly because I want to know, but also because other people ask me what's going on, and the clubs message isn't getting out.

theres enough groundbait down here for a far bigger fish than me!

Ill try to resist.

Your club decided the reserve side was worth the expense , PB?

Bookham have a reserve side one way or another, and are still in the prem.

Staines llamas top of league top of reserve league.

Reserve sides seem to at least help.

Dorking dont have one. They have a desire to have one.

Im asking "they that know" via the good offices of jr "Why no reserve side?"

no harm in me asking, I dont expect hon sec's to answer really.

Tell you what though, who'd have thought it a couple of years ago?

Bookham from the coco div1 asking Dorking the Ryman big boys if they might groundshare.

Some of Dorkings players were very dismissive of the Bookham squad.

Where are we now?

Bookham above Dorking in the pyramid, Bookham with reserve side and youths, off on european pre season friendly tour.

Dorking used to have Woking, Leatherhead and Redhill as rivals, now its South Park and Knaphill.

I cant see why you think I want Dorking to fail.

I moan about where the club is now but I do put in some constructive ideas about the way to improve.

You may have noticed I was a tad critical of the board but I spoke with them towards the end of the season and I promised not to slag them off again. They listened to me and realised I'm not the son of satan. The board won the court case, well done to them, we move on.

It is precisely because I don't want the club to fail that I bang on about it. Look at some of the reasons the two clubs you mention are in trouble and you might see why I am concerned about Dorking FC.

Currently it seems to me a reserve side would benefit Dorking, why haven't we got one, can we do anything to help? Not so controversial really.

I will be honest Im against the Bookham groundshare, they have done better than Dorking out of it.

I don't wish Bookham to fail either but I don't want them to succeed at Dorking's expense.
