Miscarriage of justice

Man City have been confirmed as UEFA Cup entries through the Fair Play points system.

They beat Fulham by 2 points.

Now not that I am bias, BUT, Man City were 2 points ahead of Fulham on 5th May 2008 with only one game to play.

In the final matches

Man City have one player sent off and another booked

Fulham no bookings or sendings off

How the f##k can the points therefore be unaltered afterwards.

As usual the FA has their favourite teams that can do no wrong and that they let get away with anything

Does anyone understand how the fairplay table works?

Fair Play Table

Why does it only include 36 games when teams play 38 matches in a season?

Cheatin sods

Bloody Man City owned by some dodgey Thai politicial on fraud charges back there who wants to sell his whole squad and replace them with Thai ladyboys.

Fulham owned by an upright true lover of football who owns a British passport ( I sent him mine last year)

Yes I'm upset

and yes I have just got back from a long business lunch!!!!

Becasue if the points are allocated across a number of games, they need to count the same number of them in the different leagues, and most European leagues play 36 games. In England we refuse to reduce the number of games becasue of the impact on revenues.

Thanks Steve, still not quite sure I understand it as the points appear to be averaged per game, so could simply divide by 38 instead of 36. Do teams get to chose the 2 games omitted or is it simply the last 2 games that don't count?

We are talking about a European organisation here so it's not going to be an obvious process, is it? whistle
