NEW KIT

Has anyone any idea if the new kit design has been,fully endorsed yet?

If yes, when will it be availble for purchase?

There's nought in the on-line shop yet. I'll have a trawl around the MYFC site, see if I can come up with something

Righty ho, the new kit has been voted and agreed on but has not yet been released.It seems that Nike and EUFC wish to have a big unveiling of the new strip in a blaze of publicity (and why not, indeed) most probably at the pre-season friendly with Charlton. That's the best I can do at the moment.

Any indication as to what designs were chosen?

 

I kinda recall the 'away' designs being "Gillingham-ish" or "Fulham-ish"...

The results will apparently be published to co-incide with the launch. There may be big advertising run up to it by Nike so in a nut-shell,I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what the new kit is like! At all.

The new kit will be launched week commencing 7th July. On Saturday 12th we play Charlton in a friendly and have the proposed social weekend. The actual designs will unveiled at the same time.

I fit small Jako. I bought medium Nike Wembley zip top (don't ask me why, I should have thought about the size) - I look like Orphan Annie lol :-)

The strip choices were :

Home - all red, round neck, white flash above badge on left of chest (badge in same place on all options)

OR - all red with white collar, like the collar we have now

OR - red with v-neck, no collar, but white panel down the sides and running down the arms.

 

Away - green and white halves, white collar, white sleeve on green side and vice-versa

OR - White with red flashes running down the sides, round neck.

OR - v-neck with thin white trim, black and royal blue broad vertical stripes

To be honest I would be happy with anything out of those choices except the Gillingham style one.

Yes the white one looks smart but for some reason I voted for the green and white one, I must have been drinking or somthing!

I haven't seen the kit designs, but I would prefer a white one to hark back to the Portway glory days!
