Talk to the fans through the media please. Use the website, or the local papers, but do it quickly. We need to know exactly the position of the club at the moment, and how the club intends to structure itself for next season.

 

And don't hang around forever waiting before appointing a new manager. Players are in limbo at the moment. We can't wait weeks on end. We need news now. As far as next year's budget goes..We really do need a strong experienced (doesn't have to mean 30 something, just players who know this level) spine of the team. It's understandable that some youngsters may have to step up, and a lot of them are exciting players, but we need a mix.

 

Everyone thinks the club is dying on it's feet. I'm as pi$$ed off as the next fan about the lack of news, and the lack of a leader to come forward to the media and say what the club is going to do now.

Sadly,I don't think they do look in otherwise why haven't they reacted so far.Either that or they really really don't give a s*** & are completely heartless,unintentionally or otherwise.

Surely neither of those can really be true could they...not REALLY?

The key word-is leader.

 

There is no off field leadership .

 

Even a simple statement along the lines of:

 

'I'm in charge -and i'm telling you nothing at the moment so sod off' -would be something-it may not be what we wish to here-but it would acrtually give me confidence that there is someone leading the club.

 

Dictatorial style -not ideal-but its better than cowering away like a pussycat under cover and saying nothing

I think the trouble is that the boardroom saga is far from over. Piper, Page and Bonner have stepped down but if KP or GL were to call an AGM to propose sacking the board then it would not matter how many people vote for Malcolm and co to stay, the Piper/Lever shareholding would be more than 50% of the vote so whatever they wanted carried would be carried.

I would not be surprised to see this happen very soon and if it does then the board would be KP, GL and whoever they choose to come on board.

The only way I can see Malcolm still being Chairman at the start of next season is if KP and Lever sell their shares. The thing is regardless of whether they paid 10p,
