Well I've not had anything through today, so maybe something tomorrow. On the TK forums it has been noted that four clubs have been moved from Southern to Ryman (one of which is Godalming).

Wivenhoe appear to have been placed into the Eastern Counties according to a separate post which would indicate the Northern League has not expanded to 22 teams, meaning we would be down a level.

However, none of this is confirmed so is pure speculation.

Have found this on the hellenic league website, written today...

'Unfortunately the clubs that were relegated from Step 4 did not produce a relegation to the Sport Italia Hellenic League, as a consequence, Harrow Hill is also reprieved from relegation to Division One status, along with Fairford Town and Abingdon Town.

The possibility of clubs folding and possible relegations through clubs at the higher levels not resolving their financial position and ground grading requirements by designated date

It's a real shame about Halifax, or indeed any club. Just goes to show more and more that clubs need to be a lot more prudent.

That said, I think there should just be a straight swap between Slough and Halifax. After all, we were never relegated out of the Conference, so it's about time we were given another crack at it.

First of all IF this is confirmed we are very lucky and I do feel sorry for the likes of Halifax and Edgware.

But as Matt says after being chucked out of the Conference all those years back maybe we deserve it.

This is a fresh start now for the club. We have finally got a stable footing off the pitch in terms of management, Chairman and commitee and have learnt what a great club this can be if we all pull together (like at the end of the current season). That's been lost over the past few years as going to games was not too 'fun'.

Now here hoping Sweets can get plan 'B' into action and get some quality players into the club asap and tie them down now, so we can be competitive in this league next season and were not starting pre-season hunting around for players like we have done the last few seasons.
