I SPEAK 2 THESE 3 PLAYERS A FAIR BIT AND THEY DONT REALLY GET INVOLVED ON PAGES LIKE THIS. BUT ALL 3 HAV SAID 2 ME RECENTLY THAT ITS THE FAN BASE WEEK IN WEEK OUT THAT IS ATTRACTING THEM.

What a load of boll'cks some people come out with about who is joining Slough and who is going elsewhere.

 

Come and watch the pre-season games - see who puts in the performances and then see if Derek Sweetman picks them for the real leauge games.

 

As has already been seen Derek has got rid of the egos of the likes of Barrett and replaced them with quality and loyal players like Gumbs and Pritchard, whilst at the same time developing existing players.

 

Now for those who wish to speculate - learn some patience - all will be revealed in good time!

What players from the current STFC squad would the fans like to keep if any?? Doesnt a relegated team need a complete overhaul? You need to keep hold of players like Pritchard. Then add quality players like Danny Jordan among others.....

quite a few of the end of season squad we had i would be more than happy to see remain at the club just we need to add better players in a few key areas. amount of goals conceded and goals scored for example

Say what You say about Our manager Choules but He knows a player, ever since We played Slough the first time at Home Hes been raving about the boy and so was the supporters that day because He was great for You that day.... Supportes also liked the look of Harper? Whats He like on a regualer basis?

I know daly is staying on and John Ellis is returning after the loss of his newborn son, be good to get a core base of players like Ellis, Browne and Daly including Roy Gumbs who show pride and passion to the cause! With a good solid base which i know Derek will maintain, the better players will fit in and hopefully we will have a more settled squad this season!

Good luck for the season i will be looking out for Sloughs results you deserve so much better!
