According to the BBC South-East lunchtime TV news there will be an extended story about the Fleet in the 6:30 bulletin tonight including details of a civic reception for the team in Gravesend tomorrow night.

Another excellent item by Geoff Clark and the Beeb - we are quick to complain at the lack of coverage we get at times, so I think its only fair to say - "Thank you" to the Beeb for making such an effort to provide items throughout last week, including Friday night at the ground, and again for tonights item. The only request I'd make to them now is "Please dont forget us next season"

I'm at a decided disadvantage in that queue. And yes, it was a silly question...an amazing weekend. Hardest thing ever was getting on that plane Sunday afternoon.

Even my "innocent" 12 year old son was muttering about the females being "fit" on Friday evening!

 

I hope someone thinks to get the Beeb to mention the parade on the Newsroom South East tonight - I know its mentioned on the Beeb internet site, on our club site and on the Gravesham council site, but the final route and times need sorting asap as otherwise it will flop and be a real let down for the players.
