Thanks for the update FM. The poor old ESL gets dumped on again.

Just as a matter of interest anyone do ANY athletic meetings actually take place at the London Borough of Havering Bridge Avenue Stadium at any time ever?

This is even more confusing as Hornchurch Stadium is a 6 lane track, therefore cannot hold official meetings which is why all meetings are held at Barking hence the name Barking & Havering Athletics club. Only training and schools meetings are held there. So a different rule for Romford FC yet again.

So now that the Isthmian League have created a precedent, there seems to be no reason why Romford cannot be allowed to play at Hornchurch's ground.

Your right..... we do need to put the topic to rest, however its still remains very odd that of all the groundshares that have been approved this one is turned down and the club that engineered the no vote are only tennants anyway.

If I go on to say the next bit I will probably be banned for life and have a writ served within the next hour. So I will now try to leave the subject alone and put it to rest.

Seems strange that the athletics club at Cricklefields stops using the track and facilities on July 31st (in the middle of the athletics season!) and do not use them again in any shape or form until May 1st. Where do they complete their season and where do they train during the autumn/winter/spring?

If an archery club applied to use Cricklefields, twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays, Friday evenings and on a Sunday morning, would that be classed as a three-way ground share? grin

He doesn't seem to understand the saying "the devil IS in the detail" does he Unc?

So it's probably not advisable to consort with the devil in the long run. Is it? devil
