I think that that is very unlikely. The potential for trouble from the number of drunken North kent lads trawling around the westend was always likely to be high. The same ones who done this would also being doing the same if they had stayed in Gravesend town centre for the evening, it is only that the victims would have been local rather than Torquay fans.

They could still have paid their 35quid..........According to the original thread, the people assaulted were not Torquay, or indeed Football Fans, just a family trying to enjoy a day out in London!

They could still have paid their 35quid..........According to the original thread, the people assaulted were not Torquay, or indeed Football Fans, just a family trying to enjoy a day out in London!

I was informed there were also a few torquay lads set upon as well. The point I was trying to make was that the likelihood of MYFc based fans being behind it was miniscule when you saw the no. of local Gravesend lads tanked up in the west end, when same lads cause trouble locally every weekend.
Anyway I would rather than take cheap shots at our new owners with slights like this, we take on their rather ill informed version of what some aspects of their mantra are for apparently for 'the good of the game'.
