My video player failed to record the Sky Sports coverage, highlights were on last night but I would like to watch the full coverage. If anyone taped it can you please contact me via personal message or just reply to this post and if possible I will borrow your tape or DVD, I would only have it for a few hours and it would be looked after. Thanks.

You can record off sky plus. You need a VHS/DVD recorder connected to the scart socket named VHS, and as long as the subject is not copy protected, then you can copy through the scart socket. This is how I record my programs.

Unfortunately I forgot to set my sky plus (doh!).

But if the club do a video, then I would buy that one.

I just looked it up on the internet, apparently it's only possible to copy from sky plus if you have a dvd writer or something, which I don't have, so I'm afraid I won't be able to help.

 

My guess is that the club will issue it on dvd in the future...?

 

Just watching it back now, Helen Chamberlain could quite possibly be the most annoying woman on earth.

Still possible to copy it onto VHS though.

To produce DVD's of the whole match (and pre-match build-up) to sell to supporters, I think the club would have to pay silly money to buy the rights from Sky for their footage.

As far as I know, Sky have never produced their own DVD's of previous Trophy Finals.
They just assume everyone has seen it/taped it off the telly !

The DVD's being flogged on that e-bay link are of course bootlegs.
It's just somebody recording it off the telly. Nothing official.
No doubt Sky will be onto them shortly.
