Yeah, we saw Jacko and girlfriend/partner/wife, too. Outside Wembley as we were about to queue to get in. Gave him a 'Alright Jacko', and the thumbs up. Got a smile and a wave back.

We had Ross smith , Mark Debolla , Steve McKimm , Jamie Pinnock , Skins and Charlie Mac just in front of us. They were signing autographs , having pics done and happy to talk to the supporters (who knew them). Ypu just wouldnt get that at premiership footie.

Lance has changed his profile pic on facebook to a wonderful picture of him with the trophy and Macca just behind him

This is just so brilliant.

Glad to see that Mr De Bolla clearly holds no grudges despite the fact that he didnt seem to have departed on the best of terms

Great day.

Saw one game, one goal, one win.....one trophy.

Perfect score and unlikely to see another game live in the next couple of years...unless Ebbsfleet tour Australia... so it was the perfect experience.

Great atmosphere and a great advertisement for the game.

The three blokes who came with me don't have anything to do with Ebbsfleet or MYFC and are Fulham and Reading supporters(they had a lot on their minds!)but were unanimous in their praise for the standard of the game and the conduct and enthusiasm of the fans.

Small mention for the Chandos Hotel, Trafalgar Square...pints for

Glad to hear you enjoyed your day.

And its always good to get feedback from those who wouldnt normally go anywhere near a non league game - whilst I'm realistic to know this wouldnt be enough to change their allegiances, one would hope that they may pop along to see a game or two in the future - even if they dont come to see the Fleet, it potentially benefits non league as a whole, which can only be good for everyone.

Just got back home and haven't had access to these boards over the weekend, but wanted to add my belated praise as well. Simply an amazing weekend, from start to finish. Second half was the longest 45 minutes of my life, but loved every second of it.

Didn't want that walk from the stadium ever to end.

Ebbsfleet United Honours

Seeing that just makes me boom with my pride for the club.

I was going to post the link on the Dartford forum. But now they have gone and spoilt it for me as a fair few of them have been complimentary. So I am refraining from doing that intill they say something bang out of order.

Unbelievable day from start to finish - my 7 year old daughter's first Fleet match and what a one to take her to! Her highlights seem to be seeing Hooky, shouting 'who are ya' at the Torquay fans, the thunderous foot stomping of the terrace, the Mexican wave and Sacha without his shirt on at the end (sometimes I do worry about her!) ...oh not forgetting the result of course. Many congratulations to all concerned - Liam, the team, the supporters and all the backroom staff who made it all come together so smoothly. Here's hoping for more days like that and more regulars through the gates at Stonebridge Road.

After the match, we bumped into Jacko and he told us Torquay 'never looked like scoring', or words to that effect. Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing? Or maybe he didn't share my unbearable second half nerves...

I hope I wasn't the only one with tears in my eyes as the final whistle blew - an unforgettable day.

Just a tremendous weekend for me and an unforgettable Wembley experience. Got back to Boston around midnight and trundled into work this morning, tired but happy.

Thanks so much to all of the old-timers, the G&N crowd, for making me and my buddies from across the pond feel so welcome. And I think that it wasn't just my "Mister Ham Man" strip making people nice, it's because you lot are okay! smile I hope I and the other Americans acquitted ourselves well on the radio on Friday at Stonebridge and that we properly expressed how excited and happy to be part of the Fleet family.

It's not just a saying anymore, it's something you can take to the bank: The future's bright, the future's Red and White.

Its great that the MYFC thing - no matter how you feel about the basic idea - has brought so many people from so many countries together, and has brought such joy to all concerned. The ability to do this in the football world is normally reserved for the Man Utd's , Arsenal's and Chelsea's of this world, so we should feel privileged that we can achieve similar success (albeit on a smaller scale).

Come to that, who would have thought that it would be "little old Ebbsfleet" who were able to persuade the FA to broadcast internet coverage in both pictures and audio, worldwide? If anyone had suggested that we'd make the Trophy final, let alone have such power on the broadcasting front, this time last year, you'd have been laughed out of sight!

Three days on and I'm still buzzing. What made my day was bumping into my mates from the Plough End outside the stadium after the game and going mental! I could see them from where I was sitting/standing and was gutted I wasn't with them but I did my best to get the fans around me singing. Ask the bloke from the pet shop in the High Street!!! It might be due to the euphoria of this win but right now I can only see this club going one way - up. If we can hang on to our current squad there is no reason we cannot be serious contenders for promotion. Fan-bloody-tastic!!!!

It is exactly times like this that it is natural to think of your links with the Club through your family and friends who have also been loyal fans. That is why I proudly wore my late Grandfather's G&N Supporters Association badge and a red and white scarf that my Dad used to wear to games and which had been present at one of our previous greatest moments, the draw at home against Sunderland! As I also wore a brand new unused Ebbsfleet scarf I felt a bit overheated at times!
