I was just wondering what you all would do to get MFC back on track to being the club we all love . So here are some questions you may all like to think about 1. Who would you have on the board .

2. Who would you have as 1st team Manager .

3. Who would you want to keep at the club ( player )

4. Who would you get rid of ( player )

5. If your budget was

At this moment i'm not sure who i would have on the board.

I would like to see a manager who has the ability to get the very best out of the players in the team

I would like to keep players that want to play for the club and that will give 100% week in week out

I would like to get rid off the players that don't care about the club

Luke Garard of AFC Wimbledon come to mind more then others.

And i would like to be in the Conference South in 3 years

NOW ANSWER MY QUESTION:

Have i got the job of the next Margate manager?

1.On the Board:- Wallace, Painter, Rowlett, Lever, Bown.

2.Manager:- Yorath, forging good links with Wevs and Southall.

3.Players:- Saunders,JJ,Mckimm,Pinns,Peters, Eastwood,Bowles and Krunic, Possibly Smith though he's not a centre back.

4.Out:- Young, SCS, Harworth, Yianni (as he's not likely to ever play in a blue shirt)

5.Want:- Friend (Folkestone), I'd like to see a mixture of youth and reserves around the back bone of Saunders, JJ, Mckimm and Pinns.

6.3 years time:- Conference South in an improved HDP.

On the serious side,I would like to see the whole board GONE,replaced by human beings that CARE about MFC,and not about how much profit it means to them right now,but to look to the future of the club and its fans,IF we could have a Chairman and Directors like that...Would not that be GOOD?

All very well Tony-but money talks.

I'm sure there are plenty of with the passion and probably the business acumen, but either do not have the funds to invest-or are not willing to invest the funds.(or do not have the time )

Until others step forward with the qualities of passion, money to invest, time and skills;i am willing to stand by those cureently in place-they may not be doing what we wish, but they are at least there.

if they are not there, the club does not exist-as i am not aware of a queue of other investors lining up.

Gary Lever is not a local business man. It is probable that he didn't and doesn't know of P's reputation amoungst the local area. I'd say P's probably upset too many people locally. I wouldn't invest any money if I couldn't trust the people dealing with it. If I had the money i'd insist he had nothing to do with the club before i'd invest. Why do you think the grounds developments have hit so many hurdles?
