ok ok so things have taken turns for the worst or better depending on how different people look at it, but what really p is ses me off is that us fans are being treated as complete twats all the news that has taken place over the last few weeks NONE OF IT OFFICIAL!!! do margate f.c really think this little of us fans who have stuck with them through thick and thin and thin and thin and thin.....i believe they couldnt give two flying fux about us. So it was mentioned on radio BIG DEAL!! every time we have a so called 'supporters' question and answers session i bring up the same thing PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep us informed and answer the same we will but do they NO!!! after 18months of supporting MFC i spent a few bob having the name of my beloved football club tatooed down the inside of my arm, it was my passion and MFC was my life second to family of course but i classed friends on the terraces as my surrogate family, oh boy have my feelings changed. I have lost that passion and not because of the way the football has been but the way MFC treats us the fans with such low regard, WHEN WILL THEY LEARN THAT WITHOUT THE FANS THIS CLUB IS DOOMED, if i was a chairman of a club i would have such close ties with the fans and would be interested in everything that is said and quoted on the terraces. And i would also make sure that those that have been there through all the bad times get the news that we deserve, evenif it is bad news we should be informed.

 

A VERY DISPONDANT AND SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING NOT RETURNING TO HARTSDOWN NEXT SEASON (dont worry wont go to rams either, think will take up another hobby, maybe knitting or something!!!)

AGREE with all above posts,MARGATE FOOTBALL CLUB was a GREAT name now the so called Board have brought this once GREAT club to its lowest position ever,I just hope they can sleep at nights knowing what THEY have done to this club,I HOPE THEY ARE PROUD OF THEMSELFS,because WE,you know WE,THE FANS THAT DONT MATTER TO YOU,WE DO CARE,just wish you had the same feeling as US.

Hang on in there lads - as you correctly point out, its your club. Maybe prove to the board how commited you are by demonstrated your ability to grow the club in other ways (marketing for new fans; running a close knit supporters club etc etc) That way perhaps you'll get a voice.

Good point LOS,BUT,whats happend to us over the last few years,well it dont seem worthwhile,it seems to me that the SO called board want us in the Kent league,maybe ?????.

Kent League? Fantastic! Home from away games by 6pm at the latest and taking 3 or 4 times more fans than the home side. Also the name of Margate would attract all the best players at that level.

On top of that we woulld have one of the best grounds (though possibly not as much cover as some).
