Just something I read yesterday & thought I'd share with you about a match in the Spanish league LEVANTE v DEPORTIVO recently.

 

LEVANTE went onto the field for the game but were protesting about not having been paid wages for a few weeks.

They stood in the centre-circle & didn't move.

DEPORTIVO kicked off & one of their players dribbled the ball all the way down to the LEVANTE end & kicked the ball out for a goal kick.

What a gentleman!!.

When the game was played at a later stage DEPORTIVO won the match 1-0.
