This time next week

I think everyone has admitted over the last two weeks that we've been crap, however we don't really want to drop another level we've dropped that many times in the last 10-years it's untrue, so we'll clutch at every straw we can!!!

Gary, I take your point, but what other way is fair then? Surely the comparison of all 21st placed teams playing 42 games over a season is the only way?

And as for the anon, well i'm sure he'll be happy to see his clubs takings when the likes of (and no offence) AFC Hayes are away to his team rather than STFC.

We do deserve to be relegated. We've been a basketcase club for two long. BUT things on and off the field have improved dramatically over the past couple of months and there's nothing wrong with clutching at straws. I wonder how many Lewes fans remember that they were saved from relegation into the Sussex County League not so long ago thanks to Cove going bust, now they are in the Conference?!

very funny mark44, but doesnt change the fact that ur down and were not, its a shame all your fans couldn't keep you up.. please try and remember its about players and not fans, if it was about fans then im sure you wouldn't have been relegated as many times as you have.. ha ha ha

the way i see it is that people are reacting at such a comical attempt to offend. everyone who responded probably agrees just we dont need to be told it by some anon we already know therefore the attempts to prevoke are pretty pointless

Amber Rebel,

Despite flirting with relegation every year, we have not finished in the bottom two so have not needed a reprieve.

In 04-05, Oxford City (21st) and Egham Town (22nd) were bottom.

In 05-06, Dunstable (21st) and Thame United (22nd) were bottom.

In 06-07, Hanwell (21st) and Beaconsfield (22nd) were bottom.

Oxford City and Beaconsfield both won the Spartan South Midlands Premier division immediately following relegation and were straight back up.

Hanwell finished 9th in the same divison this season.

Egham dropped to the very difficult Combined Counties premier where they still remain.

Thame dropped to the Hellenic Premier but were relegated for the second season in a row and finished mid table in the Hellenic Eastern division.

Dunstable received a reprieve and were shifted from the Southern League S&W division into the Midlands division.

As I said all along, I feel the Spartan South Midlands is the one to be in. I think you will be there and I hope and think that you will win it and come straight back up.

Duds

pretty incredible how Bracknell havent actually gone down the last few years. surely something needs to be done to push you on from 3rd bottom for once but full credit your team obviously knows how to get the points when it really matters. that or you have loads of luck lol. look forward to battling bracknell again some day whenever that may be
