SUPPORT ON SATURDAY

Recommended Posts

Given the situation I am sure the volume of support will be good on Satutrday but I still think that we will need the drum(mers) to be a full tilt for most of the match.

When things have been a bit touch and go of late the chanting/singing as died down until we have say forced a corner, then the drum starts and consequently the support level increases. We need to get rid of the quiet spells if possible especially if we are under pressure.

Lets hope we also win the toss as well so that we can see the lads home in the second half.

I can't ever remember feeling this nervous before any match over the past 38 years of watching, so I'm sure the team will need all of our help to overcome their nerves.

Lets do our bit!

Upon reflection, I may have been a bit harsh, after all, everyone is entitled to voice their opinion.

As Super Daz once replied....."this is a forum for debate" !!

....so, the chap concerned can moan all he wants !! But please keep away from me !!

Regards,

Quite right too.

I get accused of having it in for certain players - which isn't true - during the game I support the team - after the game i criticise where I think I should (sometimes I'm wrong!)

BUT FOR 90 MINS - SUPPORT THE TEAM!

SO WHAT IF A SHOT IS MISSED OR A TACKLE NOT QUITE RIGHT?

WHO CARES AS LONG AS WE GET MORE CHANCES & TAKE SOME OF THEM?

C'MON GRAVESEND & NORTHFLEET - YOUR FOOTBALL CLUB NEEDS YOU!

Hi All,

Had the Terriers been safe from relegation then I intended travelling on the Halifax Supporters coach to Stonebridge Road for the last game.

I know the Fleet v Halifax game is also crucially important but I hope you forgive me it has to be Port Vale with 4,000 other Terriers for me!

Although I don't really want to think too hard on it, Saturday has the potential for a total nightmare. I'm sure you won't mind if I don't take that comment any further?

Last season at this time Fleet were already celebrating promotionand the Terriers were in the Division play-offs. What a funny old season this one turned out to be.

Good Luck - my heart will be with you!
