BBC South East?

Recommended Posts

Meridian will probably be covering the build up to an extent, but Tommorrow nights FA Trophy Final special is on BBC South East, if anyone manages to record it and is willing to lend it to me, please PM me, at the moment it looks as though Me and My Son wont be able to view it. We are going to the event of course, but would like to watch the tv civerage. And yes, I am one of the few people that still has a VHS recorder and a DVD player, so VHS isn't a problem. Cheers.

Yes, they are.
They have arranged to collect a tape from me tomorrow afternoon of all the goals from the previous rounds of the Home F.A. Trophy matches (Carshalton, Weymouth, Burton Replay & Aldershot 1st Leg).
I would guess that Meridian's preview will be on Friday at some stage.

...not that I will see it (or BBC South-East) as I live in North London and I have Virgin Media (cable) only.

Gloryhunters at Meridian - earlier this season, they said they had made a corporate decision not to provide coverage of non league teams - surprise, surprise, though, they suddenly now jump on the bandwagon (any coverage is, of course welcome, so I'm not knocking this - just the decision to become involved at the last minute)

To be fair to Iain Mc,Bride though (who I believe is also the sports presenter as well as being the producer who phones me for my footage ?), he has always been keen to show EUFC highlights (and Non-League football in general) whenever I have spoken to him.
It's those above him at Meridian who are suddenly the gloryhunters so it seems.
