Chester = Budget

 

League points 64 and 65. Anything can happen in cup competitions, the league goes with consistency, so on that basis I'd go with Paul.

Anyway my point being money = better players. I think Gaffa1 would back me up when I say Kirk would get a quality side and a better coach... if he had money.

Although all this is beyond me. As any talk of Budgets and wages brings me out in hot sweats and blotches. Over the short period i have spoken to managers this season i find most tell lies about what they pay most of the time. E.g At Eton Manor after the game the management team were telling my assistant and myself how well they are doing considering they are only paying

2 finals 1lost 1won qtr final senior cup 2and round vase lost to needham mkt who went on to the 6th round.....

also manor players only got paid if the won and not as much as you think... you keep going on about you and kirk..we all know kirk was a good manger but when chester joined the club didnt he bring 5 or 6 players with him....and why you the football punit havent been offered another job in football....

if a manager takes over a team with only half a season to go and they are crap that is not the managers fault. he should get a season to put his mark on the team. yes?

 

so whats different at romford? the manager inherited a good team and did a good job. but manager of the year? don't take the p1ss! if the romford manager reading this he probably laughing about it. you cant be manager of the year only doing half a season just like you cannot be the worst manager in the world in only half a season.

 

eton manor and barkingside great achievements this season. but manager of the year is scopesy (and dont forget danny cowley) by a long way in my opinion. league title after seemingly being

f--cked. quarter finals of the vase which is almost un heard of in the last few years and two cup finals.

 

i agree it was expected that he deliver the league title but the pressure that entails is enormous and the manner they won it even harder.

 

cups are great but the league is the holy grail and that means you can get out of this kwango league!

1)some romford players do get somthing i knoe that for a fact.

2)b,side same as romford a few players get a bit.

3)Chester has done a great job at manor,nobody can say anything different 4th in league and 2 cup finals 1 trophy,People keep going on about how much money he pays the players? people are so way off the mark you would not know, quite a few players dont even get a penny unless the manor win even if the manor do win a game the money is no more then petrol money. I would say there are at least 7/8 teams that pay a hell of alot more money then chester.FACT!!

 

One reason why he has done so well is that he has the backing of the players and there is great banter within the players and management!

Sour grapes? If you say so. If that's what it seems like fair enough. Obviously unless I say something positive about Eton Manor than it's sour grapes, jealousy etc. Grow up. It's opinions. Smallsy I said I thought Kris Taylor was Manger of the Year BUT I also said I thought Chester had done a great job! How is that sour grapes? I get on well with Chester.

 

EMFC13 by the way need check your facts mate. Your're are wide of the mark. When did I mention myself? I only said Kirk. As for jobs if I haven't been offered any then you know more than me!

Manager of the year goes to Scopsy, without a shaddow. Any manager that achieves a double deserves to be recognised budget or not.

 

Not manager of the year but always forgotten are Southend Manor, no budget at all and probably the worst catchment area in the league yet a 6th place finish.!!

even so Jenko is a wind up i have got to agree with him if Kirk was given any sort of budget he would win the league because he would have a lot of players playing for him for a lot least than they earn at other clubs Kirk knows a lot of players and you only have to look at the players that have played under him in the past who are now playing at a much higher level than ESL.

P.s apart from me but im honest a nuff to know that i would not make it has a footballer at a higer level so thats why iv gone into managment
