Here`s one for you. What about our manager he could be available?Their`s a bit of unrest on our web site too from the barmy army and co. Many haven`t forgiven him for dragging the club through the gutter, holding the club to ransom over bonus payments for F.A Cup match with Bristol, especially after all the good he and the team did to put us on the map in the 1st place.

Crazy what were they thinking.

1, first there would have to be trust between the chairman and the manager, so that the manager can concentrate on the the team,

2, second of all there would have to be security of the players and club

3, there would have to be sufficient funds to pump in to the club and sort out the ground problem

4, the manager would have to have experience and potential to take the team higher in the leagues

If all these were sorted out then we would certainly be going places and be able to attract a good manager and climb the leagues once again, dont get me wrong i would love to see the rebels back in the lime light but i cant see that happening at the present time because of all the barriers we keep slamming in to we have had two good seasons but we seem to be stuck in a league in which we do not belong.

Fair enough we were not relegated from the confrence but surely we had a good enough squad toatleast get a top half finish in the prem,but getting relegated-no one elses fault! Last season we once again dissapointed,and then this season,we have one of the best set of playeres,the best ground,the best set of fans,the highest wage bills(except maybe 1 or 2 of the urchin players,Bryco dodgy windows??!!)And we still cant get promoted,so maybe you would like to rephrase your words to we are in the league we belong!

It's got to be McDermot, he was the one who brought us the furthest ( 8th in the Conf.) when we had little hope.

All these names being banded about. What difference does it matter? Deaner's reputation now preceed's him in the game and as a result, hardly anyone would be interested in working for him.

 

Anyone with any common sense will steer well clear.

he was our most successful boss he got us into the conference then others tried to follow and failed

If Browne does leave I think it needs somebody fresh with no connections o STFC at all to come in and look at the situation with open eyes.

Alan Devonshire has done a big job over the years getting Maidenhead into the premier league and winning cups all right only the Berks and Bucks but when was the last time we won it

Gary is spot on . No one half decent will come while Deaners got the club. Roll on a supporter trust.Scary times but STFC needs a clean break with this lot to bring back SERVE WITH HONOUR and those who will do that, the missing hacked off fans, commited players, coach and management.

Maybe a silly question but what happens if no manger is found!!??!!?! do we just get the best lieing around at the time!? or the players do it themself?? sammy 4 manager!!
