John Lawrence has resigned as manager of Tilbury. He didn't do that bad a job on a very low budget, when his players and staff were not fighting the other team that is.

 

Also Tilbury are having a 3000 capacity new stadium built. That means that their average crowd of 65, including away fans, will be able to get a good view of the game no matter where they sit. I wonder why they and Grays did not build a new ground between them and share.

why on earth would tilbury have a new ground built hardly a team with any ambition can only think its to do with a community project or regeneration for the area shame about jo lo mind you i was nether cmfortable with him going there and that full time victory jig against us john included ouch

Seems to be very little ambition at Tilbury. The whole place appears to be in something of a timewarp, the clubhouse, the ground even the old tramp that walks around the ground muttering to himself.

 

They should merge with Grays!!

I cant help but think that dropping down to ESL will mean that they will win more games, have low wage demands and lower travelling expenses. It is obvious from the home attendences that very few people in Tilbury are interested.

By the way, that old tramp has been walking around talking to him self for about 40 years.
