Odd if true. (and i just wonder if this is rumour and nothing else-if you look at the maidstone forum-the info came from a Margate fan in the first place.I think i'll wait for official news on this one before believing it.

All seems normal for the close season.

 

yes -we need a manager-but does another post suggest an announcement this week.

The Board appear to be kissing and making up-and arguably-we now have a sronger board-is'nt there an announcement promised tomorrow re:off pitch issues.

 

Now i'm 220 miles `away from the coalface, but from what i've read-i can't see any reason to panic-and i may have it wrong.; but it seems to me, that in a weeks time we could be in very good shape.

 

Maybe you locals know alot more than me-as all i can do is read between the lines and summise

(yes the rest is slow coming along-and i agree after two years-not to provide even temporary terraces at the coffin end -is pushing supporters to the limit-and is a secondary reason why crowds are dwindling.

The teams that seem to do well tend to see the quality players kept together in the close season, and added to in areas that are wanting. Consistent and stable management also seems to be a factor.

 

We look doomed.

I am extremely dissapointed to see Jay go, as he is a class act in this league. I knew this transfer was on the cards, but still dissapointed to see him go. If you wanted to go himself then i respect that, but if the club pushed him out then i am disgusted and it shows how little desire there is at the club.

 

Either way i would like to wish Jay luck

I wouldn't think for one minute the club pushed him out Alex as I believe he was one of the players they wanted to keep. The question is will anymore follow him???
