Torquay ticket sales rejuvenated!

Recommended Posts

As expected, the TUFC club shop say they are doing brisk business this morning after yesterday's debacle.

Fans/families like myself, with only one pot of money to spend, will be snapping up tickets before Saturday.

Also, having just double checked with Wembley, they ARE selling tickets on the day, NOT pay at the turnstile, but tickets from the Wembley Box Office.

My better half found some money from somewhere and now there are an extra 4 of us travelling down the A1! Yay!

See you there!

Cheeky beggar!

Nah, more like me and my family who only ever had one lot of money to spend. Now, having lashed out on tickets, the kids are clamouring for inflatables - gulls, sharks, palm trees!

Looking forward to the game. I read on one of your threads that the local media are really cranking it up at your end?

Oh, and btw, I saw the Gills are one league closer to you guys now!

BBC South East are doing a big thing live from the Stonebridge Road party Friday night. Also Radio Kent have bought worldwide internet rights to the game for our overseas followers.
Hope you can match our 24,000 + a few thousand neutral Londoners who will turn up on the day to get a record Trophy gate.
Lets make it a party on Saturday, may the best team win, and hope it's a great game and the sun shines.
Our party has already started with the news that the Gills got relegated.

INFLATABLES? we have only just found out about foam hands, and they have shrunk in size, by two thirds since seeing similar items on the Gladiator programme on TV Oh by the way, the Gills are a league closer to you guys to now bolt

An Exeter fan supporting the Fleet, shame on you ;o)

As for tickets, well, the club shop at Torquay have stopped selling them now, so it'll have to be buying a ticket at the appropriate end on Saturday.

As expected, there are many folks looking for lifts as all the coach and train seats have now gone. I've started a lifts thread to see if folks are willing to share spare places for the 200 mile journey, or 300 for me from Northumberland!

See you under the Arch!

Cheers m'dearios

Quite a few of Exeter Exiles are supporting the Fleet. Nothing more than they are local, welcoming and play a good brand of football.

I can't see anything but a win for the Fleet, nothing partisan is this view but Fleet have been one of the best teams in the League since Christmas and maybe the Trophy distracted them from a real push at the play-offs. Whereas Torquay look all played out and whatever they say, they are not taking the Trophy as seriously as the Fleet.

I do feel a bit sorry for the Turks & Buckle because they have given a lot to this league this season and they have a decent fair-minded set of supporters. But I think the lack of pre-season is really costing them now. Quite a few players look out on their feet and they have no Plan B (and Plan A don't look too good now either)

Have a good day, oh and Northumbergull - Please keep my seat warm!

It'll be interesting to see how we play on Saturday. I think we can't gauge much from the two play-off games as the tactics used, such as they were (!), were very specific to the opposition.

If nowt else, I hope we see a free-flowing game for the fans.

We are the Chipnickers, and we've come to nick your chips!

Cheers
