On-topic, I have been PM'ing Will Brooks on the MyFC forum today. He is suggesting at present that we have the Family Football Festival (my working title, all suggestions gratefully received) on the weekend of 12/13 July, wrapped around the Charlton friendly. He doesn't want to do the maintenance work on the same weekend - I can see his reasoning, health and safety etc. I presume. Anyway, we're going to try to do some work on the Saturday morning which will be more discussion-based - for instance we are looking at the idea of having a shared section on both the MyFC Board agenda and the Fleet Trust agenda, where items which are of common interest could be covered - I'm hoping to lead some work on this if at all possible, which would result in a working paper going to the MyFC Board and the Fleet Trust. I'll keep posting on here and on the MyFC forum, so that you know what's happening. Cheers.

Mark , can you or someone explain who has what responsibilities on the MYFC board. Can we then have only those people posting , as it seems to me that people posting in front of the board member relating to that area could cause friction.

 

Its called lines of communication.

 

As a Fleet Trust Board member , I certainly wont get involved with anything bought to our table on behalf of MYFC without it going through any agreed protocol with MYFC. Direct approaches from Fleet Trust members will be looked at I am sure.

Hello Riverview Supporter. I am posting as a MyFC member AND as a Fleet Trust member, if that helps!! It's not a formal approach. I'm just trying to keep you informed - this is something I have been working on on the MyFC forum. I am a very regular poster on there. I'm just trying to keep everyone informed. Mark is organising something for tradespeople, as you know. This is something different, but originally it was suggested they happened over the same weekend.

Thats the exact issue. I receive loads of emails to the trust email account with ideas and comments and to be honest I personally need clarification on matters. Lines of communication are important.

 

Until dates are confirmed I think that we just need to see who and what we have available and when and build a plan around that.

 

Mark:- put me down as a tea runner. I will ask work if I can use van for picking materials and taking waste to skip i have access to.

Yes, sorry if it seems I am just coming in and confusing things. Will gave me the dates and so that's what I was going on. I know Mark doesn't want to do the maintenance work at the same time as we have a social event/friendly, and he's quite right - it wouldn't be safe or sensible.

Ah well, I meant to start posting on here ages ago - had a look at the forum and then didn't for some reason - but now I am going to, as I can't see any better way to bridge the gap, as it were. I am serious - I don't have a hidden agenda. You know me, I wear my heart on my sleeve and have the scars to prove it. I still believe in MyFC, I also support EUFC - that's it really!

well whatever your agenda is its certainly a little more feminine and acceptable than the outgoing brooks mouthpiece known as lord wanchai haw haw.....but I'd tone it all down a bit if I were you sal ...these guys aint mugs and its high time someone at moonie HQ treated them with some respect..
