Summer help at Stonebridge Road needed.

As with previous years there are a number of maintenance jobs required at Stonebridge Road through the summer. We are looking for anyone with a DIY talent (or not like myself) to volunteeer time and effort in helping out. Please see below the article submitted this morning on MyFC. Anyone interested in putting there name forward then please pm me and also say if you have any specialist skills (please keep them clean please doah)

 

Calling all fans with good DIY skills

 

I would like all members with skills that could be put to good use around Stonebridge Road over the summer and coming seasons.

 

I will be overseeing with Mark(da11) the improvements this summer and will be meeting with the staff at the ground to work out what is priority and workable this summer very soon so i would like to start gathering members details.

 

Once we have had a meeting with the ground staff and got a better picture to whats the situation at the ground and dates to carry out the work i will be contacting members who can give up some of there time more and likely on weekends.

 

Me and Mark are looking into perhaps putting members up in the local b&b`s and having a little bbq going at the ground to feed us all or open the refreshments hut (got to make use of Mark somewhere) so i can attract members from all over not just local members.

 

Please if you think you can be of help even if its to help cook and feed some hungry people help clean up areas anything that will help us to make our ground a more improved ground feel free to give me your details

Just to add to this - and hi to everyone, I am a regular poster on MyFC, my name's Sal - we are trying to combine this with some other social activities and make a weekend of it, as well as getting local people, kids and MyFC members into the ground. I'll post more on here as we get organised!!

Does he post on the MyFC forum too?? Anyway, I'll be pleased to meet him - I know Harry J, Jeff Chick, Spencer, Mark and some of the other guys - I've been to a few home games and quite a few away ones and have bought my season ticket. Oh and I have met Kenny at every match - and who's that nice blond boy with the drum, he always says hello ....

Scott (the drummer) is more of a brunette to be honest wink but I'm his tall blonde mate. Or there's Kev who is tall and black haired, or Ian who's small and brown. I hope this information doesn't get into the wrong hands!
